What? The BOSCH E-MTB Challenge – an E-MTB enduro race that is part of the official international E-MTB series.
When? 15 August 2026 – Start at 9:00 AM
Where? In Verbier. The GPX route will be released a few days before the event.
Who?
Three categories are available:
- Amateur: 5 timed stages
- Advanced: 5 timed stages + 1 Pro stage
- Pro Series: 5 timed stages + 2 Pro stages
Course Features
Approximately 35 km with 1,000 m of elevation gain.
The course is divided into different sections, each offering its own challenge:
Timed Stages:
Uphill and downhill trails, ridden without any prior course inspection and against the clock.
Pro Stages:
In addition to the five timed stages included in the Amateur category, the Pro Series features two extra stages with a significantly higher level of technical difficulty.
Transfer Stages:
The transfer sections between timed stages are not timed, allowing riders to enjoy the natural surroundings and share the experience with fellow participants.

The BOSCH e-MTB Challenge is open to both intermediate and advanced riders who are eager to test their skills on alpine trails and breathtaking scenery while challenging themselves against the crono.
Yes, the challenge is a standalone event within the festival.
Commercially available electric mountain bikes (eMTBs / pedelecs) with motor assistance up to 25 km/h are eligible to participate, in accordance with the ZIV recommendation and the UCI regulations. Bikes must comply with EN 15194 and must not exceed a maximum assisted power output of 750 W at the drive wheel.
eBikes with higher power output (e.g. Avinox-equipped bikes) may still participate in the event, but will ride without official timing and will not be included in the official classification or results.
